Memphis Beat - episode "Run On" aired July 27th 2010. Karl guest stars as boxer Jerry "The Bug" Bugner on TNT 's Memphis Beat. A well-known boxer Wendall "Honey Boy" Taylor is critically injured a week after he announces retirement, and Hendricks suspects that his shady promoter is involved, but before Hendricks can get to the promoter he goes toe-to-toe with the punch-drunk Jerry Bugner (Karl Makinen).
